WEMIX PLAY Terms of Service & Privacy Policy Update

Some provisions of the WEMIX PLAY Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will be amended, and the updated versions will take effect on September 29, 2026.

1. Reason for Amendment
With the onboarding of new games and the introduction of new services such as WEMIX Station and Item Market, it has become necessary to establish and refine relevant provisions. Additionally, as player information will be exchanged with game developers during the use of these new services, the Privacy Policy will also be updated accordingly.

2. Key Amendments
[Terms of Service]
Article 1 (Purpose and Scope of Application)
• The scope of application will be specified to cover accounts, wallets, transaction signatures, exchange features, and more. It will also be expanded to include instances where these features are used within onboarded games and third-party applications.

Article 2 (Definitions)
• New definitions will be added for terms such as Game Provider, Blockchain, Smart Contract, Wallet, and Private Keys, while definitions related to discontinued services will be removed or updated.

Article 3 (Services) – General Provisions
• Provisions regarding the nature of blockchain networks and disclosures on risks associated with holding digital assets will be newly established.

Article 3 (PLAY Wallet)
• Regarding the PLAY Wallet service discontinued on December 26, 2024, the discontinuation of new wallet creation/registration and the full termination of the service will be reflected in the terms. Asset access via your held private key will remain available even after the service termination.

Article 3 (REFLECT)
• Provisions related to the REFLECT service will be removed.

Article 3 (GameFi)
• Provisions will be added regarding in-game asset exchange services through Exchange Contracts managed directly by game studios.

Article 3 (Marketplace)
• The service name will change from 'NFT Marketplace' to 'Marketplace'. Provisions regarding expanded trading methods such as fixed-price sales, game item exchange services, and prohibition of unfair trading like market manipulation will be added.

Article 3 (Information Service)
• The service name will be changed to 'Information Service'.

Article 4 (Amendment and Agreement to Terms)
• A principle to provide advance notice regarding the effective date and reasons for amendments will be established, and items related to the PLAY Wallet sign-up process will be removed.

Article 5 (Contractual Obligations)
• Provisions prohibiting the sale, transfer, lease, or third-party use of accounts will be added. Criteria for service-restricted countries/regions will be specified in accordance with international sanctions and anti-money laundering standards, and provisions regarding restrictions on providing Web3 features in specific countries/regions will be newly established.

Article 6 (Termination of Service)
• Provisions regarding the responsibility for handling held assets/benefits prior to account deletion and the impossibility of recovery after deletion will be newly established.

Article 7 (Copyright)
• Provisions regarding the license scope of service usage rights, the utilization of user feedback, and the distinction between NFT ownership and content intellectual property rights will be newly established.

Article 8 (Indemnification and Limitation of Liability)
• Provisions regarding compensation obligations for third-party claims arising from user violations of terms or laws, as well as force majeure causes, will be newly established.

Article 9 (Miscellaneous)
• Provisions regarding entire agreement, non-waiver, assignment of contractual status, and survival after termination will be newly established.

[Privacy Policy]
• Our Role With Respect to Your Personal Data
- Provisions stating that certain tasks, such as service operation, customer support, and technical operations, are entrusted to our Korea-based affiliate, Wemade Co., Ltd., will be newly added.

• For What Purposes Do We Use Your Personal Data?
- The processing purpose, previously limited to "purchasing" game items, will be expanded to "purchasing or trading."

• Sharing Personal Data with Third Parties
- Guidance will be enhanced so that you can review personal data items for each provision purpose in Annex I.

• Age Requirement and Children's Privacy
- A new section will be added stating that the service is strictly for adults (aged 18 or older, or the age required by applicable laws if higher) and that personal data of minors is not collected.

• What Privacy Rights Do You Have?
- Following the addition of the above section, phrases related to children included in each rights description will be removed. The substantive content of your rights remains unchanged.

• Collected Personal Data Items
- In-game item information linked to characters will be added under the "Game Account Information" item.

• Annex I (Details of Provision to Third Parties)
- The list of individual game developers and publishers will be integrated into the broader category of "Developers and Publishers of Onboarded Games," and the latest list can be checked at wemixplay․com/games. In addition, an item for third-party provision aimed at linking users' WEMIX PLAY accounts to games will be newly established. (Provided Information: WEMIX PLAY User Identifier (UID), Game Account ID)

3. Effective Date
• Effective Date : September 29, 2026
